We had a fabulous Member turnout to hear an update from our Captain, Paul Shillabeer and guest Jason Sack from Living Choice.
The presentation provided a detailed update on new the Club House developments
Key points included:
Temporary clubhouse
The installation will start ASAP and it will be operational by the end of October
It has capacity for 30-40 people seated and additional people in the patio area
Location is shown on page 4 of the Captains Night presentation linked below
Unfortunately, some staff are impacted by the transfer of operations to the temporary Club House
Clubhouse
The Old Clubhouse demolition will commence in November
The New Clubhouse construction will take approx 24 months ETA June 2024
A Gantt chart on page 8 shows estimated timeframes for all construction activities
Mini Golf
Will become available at the launch of the new Clubhouse
1st Hole
The club will engage a course architect to redesign the first hole.
New GM
Paul announced the appointment of Chris Coulter as the new GM
Chris was previously involved with the Club; is PGA trained and currently managing a Surf Club here in Adelaide. Chris will be starting shortly.
